How do you study vocabulary and structures?
-------------------------------------------

- **Pick a short surah you know by heart:** and study it word by word; meaning sticks faster when tied to a text you know.
- **Write each word with its root:** Arabic builds many words from one root, and knowing it opens a whole family of words.
- **Learn the attached pronouns:** the letters at the end of words (like ha, kaf and meem) occur very often.
- **Listen while following the mushaf:** so you link sound, writing and meaning.
- **Review your words for a few minutes daily:** short regular repetition beats long, irregular review.

Important limits
----------------

What a student learns here are language tools. Interpreting verses and drawing rulings from them is taken from recognised books of tafsir and from scholars, not from a learner's own reading of individual words. Translation helps with the general meaning but is no substitute for the Arabic text or for recognised tafsir.
